Aydin, a former actor, runs a small hotel in central Anatolia with his much younger Nihal and his sister Necla. Educated and wealthy, he spends his time writing for a local newspaper and researching the history of Turkish theater while his wife finds the meaning of her life by fundraising for developing schools, which Aydin is not really interested in. As the winter comes, the relationships between Aydin and his tenants, his wife and his sister become colder due to the wealth gap and the different in life perspectives.
